Discover the Ochre's Path

This itinerary uses the small roads of the Luberon, to be shared with motorists. This trail, also possible from our Agency in Apt, is a discovery that can be adapted and personalized according to your wishes. Indeed, you can travel between 15 and 51 km according to your wishes from Apt.   Several villages are on your route such as Gargas, Rustrel or Roussillon. The Ochres road which extends between Roussillon and Rustrel allows you to discover different colorful villages. These villages make up the Ochres road. On your way you can also make a stop in Gargas which has the last operating Ochres quarries in the Luberon National Park.   The minimum altitude on this route is 214 meters to reach 415 meters. The walk lasts between 1 hour 30 minutes and 6 hours depending on the route chosen. You can enjoy the break times and your pace. You can download the GPX tracks of this route directly to your phone in order to be completely autonomous and thus be able to guide you as well as possible. On the course you will find everything you need to eat and/or refresh.    Don't miss the small shops that promote local and seasonal products, they can delight your taste buds and allow you to leave with souvenirs of the region.
